Next to enhancements in the core ERP functionality of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, the further appliance of data integration (Fabric), Power Platform, and AI technology (Microsoft Copilot) can easily double the value organizations experience from IT solutions. What do we do?

Our goal is to provide the industry-standard solution for commodity and trading companies worldwide. Commodities (like metals, grain, cacao, coffee, and milk products) are crucial for goods and products we consume daily. With constant disruptions in weather, climate, global security, and logistics routes, ensuring a stable supply of commodities can be challenging. Our software makes an impact by making trade and logistics processes more efficient and managing potential risks in time. This helps our customers to trade, deliver, or receive commodities in a more efficient, predictable and profitable way.

The CTRM (Commodity Trade and Risk Management) platform we have developed over the past 20 years is powered by the latest Microsoft technology. With DycoTrade’s added functionality for Microsoft’s business solutions (Microsoft Dynamics 365), commodity trading organizations, small to very large, have an unbeaten software backbone at hand.

What do you bring?

Experience

  • Working in this role requires profound (+5 years of) experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Proven skills and experience in complex C++ development projects.
  • Additionally, a good understanding and track record with the practical implementation of Microsoft solutions like Azure, Power Platform, and Copilot is a necessity.

Personality

  • As a Technical Architect, you should be curious and eager to understand our software solution in detail but also have an eye on all the new technologies that are being brought into the world.
  • You are a problem-solver, driven by a passion for continuous improvement
  • With knowledge of our solution and the Microsoft stack, you, as an analytical thinker, can clearly see correlations, complexities, and solutions. Good communication skills (written and verbal) are required to work closely with developers, functional consultants, product management, our team manager, and the CTO.

What will you be doing?

Here is a potential snapshot of what a day as a Technical Architect might look like:

  • In the morning it’s time for our stand-up, in which your development teammates might request your support by reviewing a new Functional Design or freshly developed code.
  • Before lunch you will work out the requirements and design for a scalable integration platform, standardizing how we integrate our CTRM functionality with external platforms and sources.
  • After the lunch break, you participate in a cross-customer workshop, where an internal project team defines the materialization of a new AI-driven reporting cockpit.
  • Then it is time to review the code and propose/realize optimizations to decrease software testing and maintenance efforts
  • You’ll end the day in an educative way by following a Microsoft webinar on the latest Copilot functionality.
