DycoTrade Academy

“The only thing that is constant is change.” – Heraclitus

The DycoTrade Academy ensures that end-users, employees, and partners are proficient with the software, thereby enhancing their ability to leverage its full potential and advantages. Training at the Academy results in a more efficient and effective application of the software, which decreases support expenses and boosts customer satisfaction. For employees, continuous education promotes professional development and keeps them abreast of the latest innovations. Partners gain comprehensive knowledge, allowing them to provide superior service to shared clients and broaden their market presence. In essence, the Academy fosters an informed community, propelling innovation and success.

End-user training and certification
Companies experience a constant influx of new employees while others depart for various reasons. This turnover challenges the maintenance of internal knowledge levels from the moment a new solution is implemented. It is vital for both the customer and DycoTrade to maintain up-to-date knowledge, including awareness of new releases and added features.

Online courses, complete with certification, empower end-users to enhance their knowledge at their own pace and convenience. Adequate knowledge levels streamline communication with DycoTrade teams and Managed Services, averting misunderstandings that could result in undue costs and inconvenience.

Partner training and certification are crucial for effective collaboration with implementation partners and their consultancy teams. This is only achievable if the partners’ consultants possess a thorough understanding of the DycoTrade solution. In addition to their standard Microsoft certifications, they must obtain a DycoTrade certification in Trade, Logistics, Finance – Risk Management, and commodity-specific business processes. Certification guarantees seamless cooperation with DycoTrade consultants, as mutual comprehension is enhanced, thereby accelerating the implementation process.

DycoTrade onboarding and ‘education permanente’

The world is evolving swiftly, and Microsoft’s pace of innovation is extraordinary. DycoTrade is committed to the training and education of its employees, working exclusively with certified consultants. It is crucial that everyone possesses the Microsoft certifications, DycoTrade expertise, and commodity knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.

Continuous learning prevents stagnation and propels us toward achieving our full potential. We regard ongoing education as essential for job security. DycoTrade staff are updating their skills every 12-18 months, as continuous learning bolsters the abilities needed for the company to achieve its objectives.

Hence, continuous learning is a core tenet of DycoTrade’s culture, embodied by the DycoTrade Academy. We recognize three tiers of learning for our personnel:

Personal development
Working as a consultant is challenging, necessitating not just expertise in software solutions but also a range of other skills such as social and consulting abilities, presentation skills, self-assurance, language proficiency, workshop management, and more.
Also, when you’re joining DycoTrade, we take time to explain the company DNA, what we stand for and what we are working to achieve every day.

Craftmenship
Product knowledge encompasses a wide range of solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management and DycoTrade CTRM, as well as the Microsoft stack featuring Power Platform, BI, and Microsoft Fabric. Additionally, DycoTrade provides support for various apps to customers, such as Scansys for automated invoice processing, LaserNet for document layouts, and Project44 for real-time supply chain visibility.

Industry knowledge
Understanding our customers’ businesses is as crucial as knowing your software solutions. Each commodity sector—Grain & Pulses, Dairy, Coffee/Tea/Cocoa, Mixed Agriculture, and Metals—has its unique terminology, processes, cost calculations, and reporting requirements. Being an equal partner to our customers entails familiarity with all these aspects. DycoTrade Academy promotes this through both in-house and external courses on subjects such as LMI (metals), ICE (agriculture), trading processes, and Forex. We also foster mutual support through ‘Communities of Practice,’ where teams from each commodity have communities for each discipline (trade, logistics, finance), and these communities interconnect in a matrix to facilitate cross-commodity knowledge sharing.
